The CocknBull sits on the banks of the Campaspe River in the historic port precinct of Echuca. The building dates back to 1876, and the twelve-foot ceilings and period pieces are still here.
Inside are five suites, each with its own kitchen and living space, a courtyard garden running down to the river, and a solar-heated pool. The Port, the Murray and the paddle steamers are a short stroll up the road.

Out the back, a herringbone brick path winds through the garden to the river fence. Take a swim, fire up the barbecue, or pour a glass on the deck and watch the light go gold through the gums.

We sit between the Murray and the Campaspe in Echuca's old port precinct. Restaurants, cafes and bars are a short walk away, and so is the wharf, where the paddle steamers still run.

Before you arrive.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 2pm to 8pm and check-out is by 10am. If you expect to arrive after 8pm, let us know beforehand and we will arrange it.
Is there parking?
Yes. Parking is free and on site.
Can we bring children?
Children of any age are welcome in the existing bedding, and infants under two stay free in a porta-cot. The Adelaide Suite is adults only.
Are pets allowed?
Sorry, we cannot take pets.
Can we book the whole hotel?
Yes. All five suites can be booked together as a private retreat for up to 18 guests, which is popular with bridal parties and family gatherings. Call us to arrange it.
Why book direct?
Booking direct means the whole room rate stays with us in Echuca rather than going to an overseas booking site, and returning guests get 5% off.
What do I need at check-in?
Photo ID and a credit card. Guests must be 25 or older to check in. American Express payments carry a 4% surcharge.
